Guess what happens when you don't post on your weblog for about a week... all your posts go away! Hehehe... rather entertaining this afternoon to be told that I only had one post listed on my blog. I went ahead and changed my prefs. to 30 days instead of 7, so I won't look like so much of a slacker.

Last week was a really tough week. I was on pins and needles waiting to find out if I was going to have a job this week or not. I had applied for a position at the company that I was contracted to because the position that I am currently doing was not in the headcount budget and I wasn't sure if I would get it or not. I finally got my interview on Thursday and was told that I was accepted for the position on Friday, which was really awsome. On the same token, it was a sad week as well because two people that I really like and cared about got laid off last week, and another person that I really liked got laid off from the company I am leaving this week. I really hate seeing that happening, and it's hard for me to be positive and upbeat about the fact that I have a new job.

My horses are doing great. My honey and I are riding on the weekends now, which is great since it means that both of my horses are getting worked instead of just the one... not to mention the fact that he likes riding almost as much as I do.

I'm finally getting some things done around my place. I should hopefully have some more fencing up within the next two weeks so that I can finally do some landscaping. Once that is done, we'll be planting grass seed and putting up some walls at the back of my garage so that I have a temporary barn until I can afford to build the real one. I finally feel like I'm making progress on my property, and it's all thanks to my guy. :)

Oke, enough for now... gotta get some rest before tomorrow.
